Horrid fabric
Peacock blue color was the only thing this item had going for it. Horrid, see-thru mesh fabric and too low-cut neckline made it inappropriate for street wear - unless one is a street walker. Item retuned.

I really want to love these shirts.
I got 3 of these waffle henleys in different colors.
1 of the 3 arrived defective. Land's End was EXCELLENT about sending a prompt replacement.
As much as I want to love these shirts, I just cannot. They are extremely comfortable and the fit is nice, but the poor quality really shows. I'm turned off by the very thin fabric - I must wear a tank underneath the shirt because it is so thin. Even worse, the waffle knit holds shape very poorly. After only 3 wears and washes, my right sleeve cuff on one shirt is horribly stretched, while the other sleeve remains snug. This is not only annoying, but mysterious.
I keep considering giving 3 rather than 2 stars, because I WILL wear the shirts, and I would even currently count them among my favorites. But honestly the poor quality is a turnoff. Given the option I would not purchase them again, although I will enjoy the ones I own.

Very soft and beautiful colors
I was looking for 100% cotton for something super soft, and ordered this not realizing it wasnt cotton. But its extremely soft and comfortable and blue and green are bright, beautiful colors. True to size and since NOT 100% cotton - don't expect to shrink. Thin material - but thats what I was looking for.
