Mom jeans, for sure.
I thought these would look great, like in the picture, but man they were really loose in the butt and weren't very slim at all. They made me look about ten pounds heavier, and made my butt look long and flat. Not a very flattering pair of pants, ugh. What a disappointment.

Soft material, maybe too soft
I am 5 ft 2 inches, and I got a 12. I first tried these on and I was so happy with them. The material is crazy soft and they are very comfortable. The waist is higher than I was expecting and the roominess above the crotch can create a weird shape when you sit. I love how the pockets point out a bit and highlight the hips. The only things is that after a few casual wears I feel the need to stick them in the dryer to shrink the knee area back to the original size. Overall, I wish they had more colors, cuz I'd buy them!

I adore these trousers.
I am 5'8" and normally wear a size four, so that's what I ordered in these chinos. They could not have been more perfect. I love the soft material, the length is great on me, and the slim fit looks fantastic. They are a step up from jeans, but retain all of that same kind of versatility. Love love love these. Mine came a slightly darker blue than the photo, but very close and it's an amazing color anyway. I wear them normally with flats and cuffed a little with wedges. Definitely recommend.

Nice chinos, but . . .
Great color! Great fabric quality! No shrinkage when washing and drying! BUT, the color did begin to fade after only two washes (and I line dried the second time around to minimize wrinkles). I'm 5'9", about 130lbs. I ordered the 8 and should have gotten a six, my fault. I would recommend these chinos, but beware of your color choice!

Well made
These were well-made and a great color with really soft fabric. The fit in the hips seemed perfect. However, I'm really tall and they just hit me at a weird place above my ankle. I think these taught me I'm not a cropped pant person! For someone who is an average height I would recommend these.

Weird Sizing
These are a nice, soft cotton in a cute color, and I was so happy to get them on sale, but they were too big. I was surprised: I am 5'3 and over 140# (although mostly toned/athletic with a little belly). I go between a 4 and 6, but went with a 6 because of the supposedly slim fit. They were huge! I do not say that often. Really long and baggy too. They looked like a schlubby boyfriend chino and not the slim crop I was expecting. I don't know about the size chart - go down. And probably avoid these if you are petite.

Attractive Pants
These pants fit pretty well. The blue color is very pretty. I was afraid they'd be too short, as pants frequently run shorter than I prefer, but the length is fine. They are a bit big in the waist, but I think the legs would be too tight in the next size down. They are slimming and attractive. I am built straight - not curvy - 5'7", 140 lbs., and I ordered a size 10. I wear an 8 in Eddie Bauer boyfriend pants, but I thought Land's End ran a bit smaller, so I got the 10. The back pockets are fake, and the front pockets are just barely big enough for my cell phone - I wish they were a bit deeper. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase.

Good fit, but colors differ in fit
I ordered a size 6 in both the blue and the raisin color. The blue fit me just a tad snug, but based on reviews it should stretch. The raisin in a 6 was big - almost a size bigger in the waist, seat and legs. The material is thinner than previous chinos; more of a summer weight in my opinion. For reference, I am 5.3 1/2 in heighth, 127#, and usally take a 28 in jeans. I am built straight up and down,no waist and hips to speak of. The blue pair I will keep, the raisin color is going back. I am only giving in 3 stars as the material is thin, and the size 6 fit varies by pant.

Great except for pockets
These chinos are an interesting contrast to the regular LE slim fit chinos from the 2012 fall catalog. The legs are longer and slimmer. I would say the rise is equivalent to the Fit 1 in regular LE. My only complaint is the pockets. They bag out a bit so if you have curves, they could make you look more curvy. I am going to have them stitched down to avoid this look. Otherwise, they're a nice chino.

Great color and great fit!
These pants are comfortable and true to size! Perfect for both casual and work wear. I want a pair in every color!
