Feet slide back when walking... so end up walking on the rear edge of sandal
I bought a pair of these to go on vacation in Europe, and was pleased that they seemed a little on the wide side for my EE width feet, and had squishy gel inserts on the base. However, when I started walking in them with the ankle strap firmly buckled on the smallest setting, I found my feet slid back on the sandal base so I was walking on the back edge. Needless to say, that's the last time I wore these on the trip - now I'm debating whether or not to send them back to LE, since I can't really wear them to walk any kind of distance.

Very Uncomfortable
These are far and away the most uncomfortable sandals I have ever worn. The leather cuts across the top of my feet. Also, they do not support my feet well and result in backaches when I wear them for any length of time. If I could return them and get my money back I would.
I must say that I have been very happy with all the other Land's End items I've purchased, but because of these sandals, I probably won't take a chance on anything else.

Very comfortable
I ordered the wide fit and it was sized perfectly for my feet. The sandals are great for everyday wear with pants or skirts. I walk a lot in my job and even after a full day my feet and legs feel good. I would definitely recommend this sandal.

Great sandals for a good price
I had been looking for brown sandals -- in leather. Every store only had "plastic" shoes. So glad I saw these at Lands End. They are good looking, comfortable and made of real leather. The price is good, too. I know I will get a lot of use out of these this summer.

This version is a full size smaller than the slide!
Disappointed! I ordered the slide and the sandle with the ankle strap. This sandle is so much smaller in size than the slide! The base is about 3/4" shorter and the straps are much tighter. Even with the buckle on the last hole, it feels like I put my size 10 feet into a size 8 shoe. I normally wear a straight size 10 in most LE shoes, so I'm very disappointed. I love the slides. I wish they came in more colors. I wish this slide fit.

Hurt my feet, returned to store.
I don't wear shoes that hurt my feet and I refuse to "break them in". I don't think they were leather so I'm not sure they would "break in". I returned them to the store.

These sandals fit well, are very comfortable and are stylish too.
I bought these sandals for my daughter. She is very pleased with the color, fit and style of the shoes.
She wears them to work and after work and is very happy with them.

Great, Comfortable Sandal
I bought these sandals in the gun metal color. I really love the color. It goes with everything. The sandals are so comfortable and fit perfectly. I usually wear either an 8 1/2 or 9 and I bought the 9. They are great for doing a lot of walking on vacation or any where in the summer. Love them!

Feet slide up in them
I like the style, but my feet kept sliding up to the front when I walked in them. Not comfortable at all because of the contoured footbed, which, when not walking, was otherwise very comfortable. Maybe that means they were too wide? Unfortunately, they went back.

The design of these sandals is lovely, but...
...I have narrow feet and there was too much room at the front of the sandals. I had no choice but to send them back. Really a shame as I like the design very much. Could Lands' End accommodate optional narrow fittings for sandals? Shoes are ok, sandals can be a challenge.
