Design: Cut from soft velvet with a bit of stretch to hug your body just right. We used a straight waistband to create sharper symmetry. And we shaped the legs to be super skinny, creating a lean silhouette.

Heads up — to keep these pants from painting your entire wardrobe, lock in the color with a quick, cold wash. Then it won’t rub you the wrong way.

Material: 98% cotton, 2% spandex. Machine wash. Imported.

I LOVED these pants -- until I wore them 3 times & they tore. I loved these pants. They fit perfectly, were super flattering, and they came in the prettiest, brightest color. I got a ton of compliments & I sang Canvas' praises... UNTIL... The *3rd* time I wore the pants, the tore at the pocket. Velvet is an unforgiving fabric for repairs, so now they're trash after only 3 wears. What I thought were a steal, were actually a big disappointment. May 7, 2013
Love the tuxedo stripe detail on the side. As I have too much black in my winter wardrobe, I'm now always looking to get bright colors. I like velvet pants & noticed these because of the bright colors. The tuxedo stripe detail made the difference. I may have bought them anyway just for the color, but that stripe makes them more interesting. They fit true to size & are comfortable. I bought the candy apple which is much more of an orange/coral red than in the photo, which looks more pinkish red. I'm keeping them since they're NOT BLACK. ( Ok, they are available in black.)
