Versatile & useful for much more than swimming!
I have ordered several of these shirts & like the bright cheery prints. Fit has been fine in my normal size. Since I was purchasing them for walking and gardening shirts I appreciated them being a little loose and airy rather than form fitting for swimming. Have really appreciated having something pretty to wear while still being protected from sun worries, particularly glad to have the longer sleeves to also protect hands,
In fact my suggestion to LE is to consider a modified optional design that would have a higher curved back neckline to better protect the back of neck and upper shoulders. No need for a collar or high neckline all around but would appreciate the fuller coverage especially for such exposed neck area when leaning over to garden .
Overall - a REAL find for which I am grateful!

Stripes don't line up at sleeves!
I got this one in the black and white stripe. The fit is really good, and the weight is nice. I really like the idea of it, and would be thrilled, BUT... on one wrist (at the end of the sleeve) the stripe is black and the other sleeve ends with a white stripe. Hopefully I am the only one who will notice, because they are sold out of this color and the other ones I'm interested in are back-ordered to August and September. Just wish quality control had caught this mistake.

Finally a sun protection shirt that I didn't have to purchase in the men's section!
Love this product. It is stylish and very practical. It provides sun protection without looking like I am on safari. Plus you offered it in bigger sizes. I have a question though: If America is the land of the obese, why is it so hard to find the selection of styles, design, color, etc. in bigger sizes? And, when you are able to find something in a larger size, why does it go against almost everything the designer's say works against a larger size? Example: stripes going across; cuts or drapes that are very unflattering; prints that make you look like you are a paint ball target. I realize this has mostly nothing to do with this top, because it is great, but I just thought I would ask. I have always loved Lands End and they could be on the cutting edge of fashion if they would consider expanding their GREAT cotton products to more flatter the larger sizes.

Great coverup
I have purchased several of these shirts. The cut is looser and longer: more like a t-shirt than a rash guard, and I wear the same size as I do in LE t-shirts. I am not supposed to be in the sun at all and they are just perfect for my needs. I have worn them to walk the dog on sunny days, to walk on the beach when the sun is out, to swim in the pool/ocean or to just sit out in the sun. Because the fit is looser, they are not uncomfortable in 80 degree temps, tho I don't know how they'd feel in very high heat and humidity. They look nice enough to wear with capris when walking around town on a sunny day. They wash well (line dry), they dry fairly quickly and they really do have sun protection.

Just great for swimming
Now I can't wait to swim with the grand kids....too self conscious for a swimsuit now and went in with a t shirt last summer so this is the best idea...hope they come out with an elbow sleeve or 3/4 sleeve one sometime...thanks to Landsend...

love these swim t-shirts!
I just got back from the Turks and Caicos islands where I took 5 of these long-sleeve swim t-shirts and wore at least 1 of them every day. I have this navy stripe, the pink paisley, yellow leaf, sea green paisley and white/pastel floral. I totally love them. I'm usually a size 6/8, which is generally a small LE but I ordered a medium on purpose in these shirts because I wanted them slightly loose. They fit exactly how I wanted over bathing suits and definitely kept my fair skin from burning. Additionally, I've also used them on other overseas trips and they're very comfortable for plane travel and easy to pack. The fabric is soft and light. It dries quickly after swimming and holds the shape. I wash them on light - to - delicate with similar colors and then hang dry. So far, they've held up very well, and I gave them a seriously work-out over the last 2 weeks. Especially if you can get them on sale, buy, buy, buy - for ladies wanting to avoid too much sun, these are the real deal!

Sun Protection - Cute Tee
Love the striped tee for sun protection when involved in summer activities!
It fits well, the fabric is pleasant to wear and I always have liked the nautical look of stripes.

This shirt is perfect!
The shirt looks great, keeps you cool, dries quickly and has great sun protection. I wore it on an eight hour canoe trip in Florida and had no complaints. I highly recommend this adorable shirt!

Love this shirt, but runs large
I saw a similar swim tee in the j Crew catalog for almost three times what this shirt cost. I listened to the advice and ordered the XS ( 5'9 and 130 lbs, but never, ever an XS in anything). I'm glad I listened- the XS has the perfect fit and fits just like the very expensive J Crew shirt (the J crew version does have a much more shrunken look than what the Landsend model is showing, but that is what I was wanting).
