So nice, I ended up buying three pairs!
I was at the Lands End Canvas store in Madison when these leggings caught my eye. The pattern is beautiful, and the leggings are very thick, warm, and cozy. I know that previous reviewers have mentioned that these particular leggings are distractingly scratchy. I would have to disagree. I have sensitive skin and am VERY particular about the types of fabrics I can wear; I had no trouble whatsoever with these leggings. After I washed them with fabric softener and let them air dry, they were soft and I didn't notice any scratchiness.
I was so pleased with the fit and feel of these leggings that I decided to get two more pair! They hold up great in the wash and they're definitely a cozy winter staple for me. I'm a size 10 (5'7" and 150) and the Medium fit perfectly.

NOT Merino Wool
I've purchased merino wool garments from Canvas in the past and I've been very satisfied, so I figured these would be the perfect comfy pants for winter. The leggings are VERY thick and warm (and I'm always cold) but after having them on all of three minutes my legs were itching like crazy! I tried ignoring it because I loved the fit and warmth but it was too much. After taking them off I checked the tag and the wool content is in fact 24%, but the word 'merino' was absent from it. My leggings are NOT merino wool and therefore I can't wear them. If anyone else out there is sensitive to wool then I can't recommend these. As far as the fit is concerned I found them to be pretty true to size, if not a little big in the waist.

Beautiful, comfy and warm leggings
I just received my order today with these leggings and noticed their softness immediately out of the package. The fit is great and true to size, as per the size chart, including the waist band. For reference, I'm 5'2", 140 lb, 30" waist, 40" hips and I bought a medium. They are a good length for me - just a tad long but good in case i want to wear over boots to keep the chill out. They are thick and warm - just like they should be and they may even be worn inside out, as the reverse pattern is really cute (but you'll have visible seems - but no matter...)
I'll probably wear them mostly at home but I tried them on with the CLE hand knitted aran cashmere sweater from last winter and they look so cute together. I just may have to wear this cozy duo out.

So great, beyond words.
What I love about these is that they are thick enough to wear with a sweater and boots and run around town, not looking shleppy at all. They're also warm and the perfect thing to wear around the house on a lazy day. Love them. And they're soft - softer than one would imagine wool to be. I can't say enough nice things about them! I was worried they'd be big on me in an XS because of some of the other reviews, but they fit great, maybe a little baggy, but nothing unbecoming, and I'm 5'2" and 105 lbs.

I love these leggings!!!
They fit me like a glove and are super warm and cozy. For reference, I am 5'6"/125lbs and took the XS.
Word of warning, if you have any wool sensitivity, these are not the leggings for you, but if wool doesn't bother you, you'll fall in love!!
My husband absolutely loves them because typically on wintery days I wear baggy flannel pants, etc. because I get cold easily...but, with these leggings I can "show off my figure" without hiding it under bulky layers of flannel and still be toasty warm!!

5'10 150lbs Waist is way too big slides down constantly
The waist is way to big even though the legs fit fine. It slides down constantly. The length would be great if they just stayed on!

Favorite Leggings!!
These leggings are fantastic!! I bought a pair a few weeks ago and love them so much, I might buy another pair! Get them while you can! I washed them in cold water on delicate and laid them flat to dry and they held up great!

Cozy Lounge Pants
These pants do not get enough credit on the website. The fabric is a lot thicker than it looks and they are so comfortable! I tried on the striped pants with the drawcord that are similar, but these won me over. They are very cozy, the fabric is thick (and hides any imperfections) and they keep you warm. These are perfect for wearing around the house. I wear a 2 in the True Slim chinos and I got a size XS in these pants and they fit perfectly. I wish this fabric/style came in more prints!
