A new favorite! I love this dress! The fabric is terrific. Nice, substantial cotton. Nice, calm plaid - lovely dress. I have to hem it just a bit. Otherwise - I'm in love! March 1, 2013
nice summer dress I wear a lot of dresses and this is a nice one. The material and construction of the dress are quality. You have to remember that it is cotton so it does come out of the wash a little wrinkled. My only critism is that the belt loops are cheap twisted small guage cording that do not hold the belt very well. October 1, 2012
nice but not for me... I like this dress but had to send it back. The only issue I had was the spacing of the buttons on the bust. It caused a gap so you could see right into my bra. If they were to add one more button and space a little closer I think it would be fine. I tried both the solid and madras and was disappointed I couldn't keep either. August 22, 2012
Superb Quality in Fabric and Details I was very impressed with the quality of the fabric and workmanship of this dress. It has french seams (no raw edges on the inside), real mother of pearl buttons (no plastic here!), and the fabric is a very nice weight. I absolutely love the style - fits well on top, quite roomy fitting in the hips gives it an easy look. I ordered the size 2 Petite (to have the length just above the knee). -- This made the waist a little short on me, but I love the length of the hem. I quess I could have also got the regular and had it hemmed up. I'm 5'4", 117 lbs. My actual body measurements are: Bust 32.5 inches, Waist 27 inches, Hips 37 inches. Love it so much, I'll be wearing this everywhere for years to come! July 27, 2012
Had High Hopes! I really liked this dress online. However, I was a little disappointed with the fit. The problem I had was with the pockets on the side of the dress. Since I have bigger thighs, this made the thigh area stick out more. It makes me eyes focus on that area, which is not what I prefer! Otherwise, the rest of the dress fit okay. The color seemed to be a little more faded then in the picture, also. But, not a huge difference. April 20, 2012
