Pleasantly surprised!
I thought this looked sort of weird in the photo, but for the price gave it a try. I was very pleasantly surprised! I ordered down a size like other reviewers recommended and was glad I did. I'm 5'11" and this came to about 2 inches above the tops of my knees. The fabric is very cool, and the fit is very comfortable!
My 2 complaints:
1. There is no lining except at the hem. With a dark fabric this is probably ok, but when you're standing in front of a light source, window, etc, you can see some of your leg silhouettes. This is not a huge deal though.
2. The first button is not at the top of the placket, and the placket is curved up there, so on me the curvy part kept folding over to the inside, making the neckline form a V to the first button. I could easily install a snap to fix this though. The bottom button is quite a ways from the hem, so when you sit down there is a fair amount of gapping.
I took away one star because I'll need to install snaps at the top and bottom of the placket, but otherwise I really like this dress and it's a keeper!

Cute, comfy with unique retro style!
I absolutely love this dress! The material is a soft, lightweight cotton, perfect for spring into summer. The tie belt creates a lovely hourglass silhouette (even if you weren't born with one!). It does run slightly big. I typically wear a 12 and sized down to a 10. But honestly, I can't say enough about how much I adore this dress! Wish it came in other prints! Lands End, make more dresses in this style!

Cute, versatile
Lots of potential for this one. I bought it on sale in November with the intention of wearing it with a LE cardigan in garnet and LE dark green tights-- but I can't wait to wear it sans sweater for the spring and summer!
Full skirt with pockets (love!), but they don't add girth in the hips. I'm larger in the chest and shoulders than elsewhere, and so bought my normal size... which, if it weren't a dress, would normally be too big due to Lands' End sizing. The cute striped belt helps me with the shaping of a slightly roomy bodice.
The previous reviewer is right: if you're not larger-busted, order a size down.

Cute dress but ordered wrong size, size charts are wrong
When will I learn to size down on everything I buy from LandsEnd? Ugh.
I'm a 12 according to the size charts but everything is too big.
I can't decide if I'll return this and get a 10 or just return it.
