Women's Shape & Enhance Ultra High Rise SwimMini
A Must Have!
This is the best thing that has happened to this menopausal body! It fits great and actually smooths out the "lines" under the tankini top. It stayed in place and you couldn't tell it was there! I have two and highly recommend it! Thank you Lands End!!!!

Wow--best suit bottom ever!
Thanks, Lands End, for the ultra high rise swim mini. It is so perfect for my body and so comfortable and good looking. I couldn't believe it wouldn't roll down but it stayed nice and high and flat the whole time--even with a lot of climbing around on rocks and fun in the water. I'm never comfortable in anything with a dropped waist, so this was just right for me. I wore it on an adventure travel vacation and I felt GREAT! Flattening and flattering! I paired it with the matching underwire top and it's really the best looking and most comfortable bathing suit I've ever had. Good coverage but not frumpy. Feeling good on the beach and in the water is such a gift! Worth the price.

perfect color match
I'll have to comment after I wear my choice of this summer's swimsuit to the beach.

This style runs smaller than the regular swim skirts, is uncomfortable, and doesn't look any better in the abdomen than just wearing a regular swim skirt. I am 5'3", 114 lbs. with more padding around the stomach, hips and butt than I would like. I ordered a size 4 - the same as my regular rise LE swim skirts. This style was too tight in the hips/butt and wrinkled in ways that just made my hips look even bigger than they already are. Didn't work for me at all.

Fits to size (NOT size chart); more brown than wine
I went back and forth between ordering a 12 or 14 quite a bit, but based on another reviewer who was kind enough to provide her measurements and size that worked for her, I chose the 12. It fits fine; possibly because it stretches. For the record, and to help anyone who needs it: In pants, I am a large 12 or small 14 (36-37" waist--quite different than the size chart on this web site which I think would say I'm an 18).
I ordered the Orchid Wine. It is browner than I expected. I was trying to avoid black. I have paired it with a white and black top (from Lane Bryant) and it looks fine--certainly enough for snorkeling on vacation.

Great swim skirt and comfortable in black
Bought this Jan.2013 to take on a cruise. I am an apple shape and struggle finding a swim suit I feel comfortable in. Have tried the Miraclesuites but they can be painful. This skirt is comfortable gives a smooth appearance and it does not roll down. It is pricey but I think it is worth it. I wore it on the beach and snorkeling and not once did I have to adjust it. It stays in place even with activity. I have paid more and been very uncomfortable and unhappy, so this skirt really made my beach time more fun. The 12 fits well as that is my usual size.

Love this swim skirt. A little pricey but think it will be worth it.
I am an apple shape. Other swim skirts have wanted to roll or slide down in front at the waist. This swim bottom has mesh to smooth the tummy and the ultra high rise keeps the skirt up where it is suppose to be. The top of the waist has that gripper tape inside to help keep the garment in place. The little gather at the front/side of the skirt adds a little extra style and a little extra forgiveness. I ordered both a sixteen and an 18. I probably could have gone with either size. The 18 was a little more comfortable but I was worried it didn't fit firmly enough around the top of the high waist and might slip a little. The sixteen gave me a little better support in the tummy area and I thought it would be more likely to stay up. I havent tested it in the water yet. just tried to move around a little. seemed like it would stay. The leg openings were just a little tight so if you carry more weight in the thighs you might want the 18. My hips measure 45". Waist 42" (eek) Measurement under bust line 39". I had a tummy tuck 5 yrs ago so I dont have as much weight below the belly button.. I take a 14 or 16 pant depending on fabric and style. If you measure a little larger under the bust and similar to me elsewhere then I would consider the 18.
