I really wanted to like this skirt... but it's just not all that. For starters the fabric is a lot more textured and matte and much less sparkly than shown in the picture, lending the skirt a bit of a sad look, not very festive. The length is also a little iffy. I was looking for something that would come just to the knee, so I ordered the petite (I am 5'2"), but found the skirt to be shorter than what I had expected - it hit well above the knee. Finally, the cut. Again, not too impressed. The skirt is literally just an unshaped piece of fabric with an elastic waist band (I couldn't even find the zipper!), so that when worn it puckers giving the wearer an exaggerated belly. Not what I was looking for. So, sadly, this skirt is going back, since it does nothing for me other than make me wish I could get what I see in the picture on the website... March 7, 2013
