nice, but not for me
The pants are nice enough and fit well, but they are more "distressed" than I thought. I would have kept them if the "pre-wash" process had been a little gentler. So, they're nice, but not exactly what I wanted. For others, they may be perfect. (And the "orchid"-type color is unique and very pretty.)

Great, high quality chinos, color is off.
I LOVE these chinos! I can never find any that fit me without making me look like I'm dressed for work at a dunkin donuts. The fabric is high quality and soft. I'm usually a 25/26 and bought a 0, perfect fit. That said, I bought them in pink flamingo, was expecting the pink color pictured... but it's the crazy neon orange/pink that's "so hot right now". I'm keeping them, I still love them, but I was hoping for just a regular pink.

Nice casual pant
These are nice pants overall. On me, the fit is pretty good. I'm 5'4", and have a 26" waist and 36" hips (roughly 123 lbs). I got a 2, and it was slightly more fitted through the thighs than I expected, but then again, I'm rather robust through the thighs. Once I wore them around they loosened up nicely -- they weren't baggy, but nicely casual. There's a small gap at the back of the waist on me, but this happens on most of my pants. (Finding pants that are slightly higher at the back usually helps). The pockets lie relatively flat on my hips, and the length was just perfect -- I could wear them with flats, with no hemming required. The only improvement I would suggest would be to make the fabric just a bit thicker. I compared them to my husband's khakis, and I liked the slightly heavier weight of his pants, since it seemed to wrinkle less. Otherwise, they washed nicely (washed in cold, hung to dry), and I think they'll see lots of use.

Exceptionally Nice!
I have been shopping with Lands End for years but this is the first Canvas item I've tried. These chinos are excellent. The fabric is soft and substantial. The construction and detailing are top notch. The minute I put them on, I loved them, and knew I'd found a winner. I am 5'5" tall, with a 26" waist, 34.75" hips. I ordered the khaki in size 2 and they fit just a bit loosely before washing and perfectly after washing. I wish they were offered in more subtle colors. They are stylish and flattering, while still looking classy. I would buy them in more colors if they were offered in muted tones like soft blue, pale pink, or light gray.

Perfect pants for Spring and Summer!
Just received these pants. The fit is excellent. Love the way they look and the length. Perfect to wear with flats or flip flops in the summer. Nice cut to these pants, very flattering.
