Description

So graceful.

  • Fluid blend of cotton and lyocell
  • Elegant draped neckline
  • Top has a tank top front sewn in, for modesty
  • Falls to mid hip

It’s unlike any top we’ve ever offered. The draped front is cut a tad deeper, for one thing. (Not to worry, though — a tank top front is sewn in, so the overall effect isn’t too bare.) The fabric is perfect for a top with this kind of drape, too — a blend of cotton and lyocell (an environmentally-friendly rayon). So you’ll feel pretty and confident. 60% cotton/40% lyocell. Machine wash. Imported.

Really like this shirt! I am 5'4", about 125, and I ordered the small. I love the shirt, very lightweight. May 3, 2013
Huge disappointment This top came out of the package looking like a rag and didn't improve when I put it on. The fabric is thin and wrinkly and the draped front looks like fabric that was stretched out of shape. It's going back. This might have been lovely in a more substantial fabric. April 16, 2013
True to image and description Very happy with this top--I wore it for a slightly dressy occasion and felt quite comfortable. Doesn't stretch too much across the front, which is always a bonus. March 30, 2013
Bad for busty folk I'm not even that busty. Average, I'd say. But the outer "drapey" portion becomes a hot mess bunched up on my upper chest. I have to keep tugging down the loose neckline, or it creeps back up to where most of the drapey part is resting on the upper 'shelf" part of the bust. It's not a good look. The gossamer fabric is very cool & modern, but it doesn't help; it's not thick enough to be weighted down or stay put when I tug it into position. So if you are moderately endowed, avoid this shirt. Looks cute on the model, though. Would probably be a great shirt for someone with a slighter bust. February 26, 2013
The Top Fit Before Washing Fit before washing was true to size. I thought the fabric was the same as others in the Modal scoop neck and v neck tops. Washed in washer on warm and into warm dryer. Shrunk too much to wear again and much more than other current knit Modal tops. The fabric is all shriveled looking. Would have to iron it to make it presentable. Am afraid this top will be returned. Also had problems trying to get the draped top to lie correctly and look nice. I purchased the top also in the draped top style with leaf pattern and that one looks really nice before and after washing. February 16, 2013
cut way too low this is cut way too low. My bra shows just standing in front of the mirror. I have always trusted lands end for being cute yet modest and this missed the mark. I tried several tee styles on at Sears landsend and they just are very low. Beware, if they look low, they are! February 12, 2013
Might work for some; not liking the fabric I bought this to wear around the house cleaning, thinking I couldn't go wrong at the price even though it is too low cut to wear in public. But the fabric does not work for me. If you like modal, you might like this lyocell, but I cannot stand it. I much prefer cotton, and to me this fabric is itchy and uncomfortable on my skin, though it is soft. The size is slimmer than some Lands End knit shirts, and I like mine boxy. February 1, 2013
