Lovely top but odd fitting
I found this top is very odd fitting. Ordered my usual size small petit, but it is tight on the arms and way too much material on the bust (I wear 36 bra) it fits for a size 40
The color, (I ordered the blue) is very heather so it does not look sharp.
However, I love the pintucked style as well as the embroidery.

Cleavage shows too much
This top is exactly the way is shown on the picture; however, the neckline opening is too revealing for busty women. I am a 34C with broad shoulders and ordered a size 6 as usual. The top is very flattering, but once I start moving, my cleavage shows too much and even my bra (you cannot wear a full coverage bra here). What I do to overcome this problem is to place a safety pin inside, at the opening. Though the top has this problem, I still love it and so I keep using my safety pin, but I hope that this review will help LE redesign this one, since it is so classic and cute.

perfect!
i only read a few of the other reviews but i have to say, we must be reviewing totally different tops as the fit is great, the cut flattering, and well yes, _of course_ you have to iron linen after washing it. the top is not low-cut - it's a perfect, summer empire style that is very flattering (though i don't have an enormous bust size; if you did it might cause it to pull or gap). i bought two and get compliments every time i wear one. i will say that as usual with LE stuff, sizing can be wacky - i tried on a 4P in the store and the blue one was remarkably larger than the white 4P. strange. anyway, they fit great and have held up to multiple washings (and yes, ironings) and i look forward to sporting them again next summer.

Awesome summer top
I read numerous reviews & took advice to try ordering a petite rather than my usual misses size. I also ordered one size down & the fit is great. I put a white stretch cami under or pin the opening and wear w great necklace & I love it. I have washed it on hand wash cycle and I agree that the fabric is just a bit rumpled, but it still looks great to me and it is linen after all. Great w summer suntanned skin!

Looked good in the store...but...
I purchased this cute shell after seeing it in a LE store. I fell in love with the texture of linen and especially the light neutral color. I tried it on and it was cut a bit low, but I thought I'd try it anyhow. After a machine wash (gentle cycle, cool) and line drying, I was quite disappointed. It requires ironing to flatten the edges as they roll and the fit just isn't the same. I can't say it shrunk exactly, but it just never draped as well as it did when brand new. I had high hopes for this top, and I still think it's adorable but the way it's constructed and the fit just didn't meet my expectations. I'll just try something different.

Too bad about the fit
A beautiful top - fabric had a lovely hand, colour fantastic for a redhead. Too bad the cut in the bodice so strange. Gaped at the front of the armhole and gaped at the neck. No amount of alterations would have helped. I was willing to spend $$ to alter but the actual cut was weird so couldn't be altered. Regretfully, back it goes.
