Size was not consistent Loved the color, style, and fabric, but the fit was not normal for Land's End. I usually wear a size 2, but this was unusually small. Will be returning them. June 13, 2013
Cute as pants AND capris! I'm 6'0 and ordered a pair of these chinos in my usual size 12 with a 35" inseam. Nice pants with a good wide boot cut leg, no surprises. I don't love the way the pockets tend to gap open, but I can easily sew them closed for a sleeker look. However, as I was browsing this site for boot-cut capris (which are seemingly non-existent these days), it occurred to me that I could order these pants in petite with a very short inseam (25" is the shortest they offer) and perhaps create my own version of capris. Jackpot! The petite sizing is maybe a touch smaller than regular (I ordered a 12P and they are just a little more snug than the 12T), but the inseam trick worked perfectly. I also ordered a pair of the #2 waist chinos in petite and they are also great - I find that rise too high in regular/tall sizes, but in petites it's just fine. A good trick for tall ladies! RECOMMEND WITH RESERVATIONS I like the stretch in these pants. I don't like the gap in the back waist. When I find pants that fit in the hips and thighs, the waist is too big. If you have a less curvy figure, you would probably like these pants. I bought the white pants and I plan to wear them mainly for the office. Seems like white pants just don't work for leisure since they get dirty or stained so easily. Well made pants. May 30, 2013
