It might be the most comfortable “dressy dress” you'll ever wear. For that, you can thank the stretchy knit velvet fabric, which we cut against the nap for deeper, richer color. (Cutting with the nap – so the velvet feels smooth when you run your hands down the dress – causes velvet to reflect light, making it appear washed out.) Princess seams create a silhouette that flatters every shape. And the ballet neckline is graceful, but not so wide that bra or slip straps will show. 90% polyester/10% spandex. Machine wash. Imported.
