Women's Drifter Crew Sweater
For "me" and my body shape this sweater fit just right. Nice and heavy too enough that I could wear with a long sleeve tee underneath and scarf rapped around my neck instead of a coat.

Please don't ever discontinue this old standby sweater. Really love this sweater and bought multiples. It is my wardrobe classic go to item. Everything about it is perfect. If I were taller I might complain about the length. But, I'm short and regular sizing is perfect for me. I like coverage when bending or stretching.

awesome...but really short
Overall, I like the purchase. However, it seems WAY SHORTER than every other sweater I own. The sweater feels light weight, even though it seems very sturdy and well-made. It is a nice, warm sweater, but not exceedingly heavy. But I am short waisted, and this sweater is still short on me. It would be perfect for a petite person, but I'm 5'4", and it is too short.

they fit properly
I have several of these sweaters in different colors and I really like them. They stay in shape and fit properly.

Lands End drifter sweaters are reliably so soft, fit perfectly and wash beautifully. I have personally had one for 7 years and it still fits and looks like new. I buy them as gifts for my adult family members and they look forward to receiving them.

Shrank when washed as directed.
Prior to wearing, I washed this sweater as directed, i.e. warm wash on delicate, and used a cold rinse; dried on low. Though it still looks nice, this sweater shrank at least one size. If it does not shrink more and I gain no more than one gram, I probably can wear it, though it is snugger than I like. The same thing happened with another Drifter I bought at the same time. In future, I will treat these like wool, and wash in cold, dry flat, no dryer. Btw, these instances are very different from my first Drifter, which ran large, and which over the years I have tried to shrink a bit....

I love this cotton sweater! I LOVE the raglan cut of the sleeves which gives it a casual, slouchy feel. It runs true to size, not tight. I bought a black and maise. My sister took the yellow so I'll have to reorder. Not sure why the white s not available?.. Would love on of those.

I have had my red crewneck sweater since 1995. It looks and feels and the shape is the same as the day I got it. My daughter graduated from OSU and I wore it to all the home football games and everyplace since then. Now I'm wearing it for Red Friday's to help fight Womens Heart Disease. I absolutley love this sweater and would advise everyone to at least have two in their wardrobe.

The Drifter Crew is a good basic sweater for casual wear. The weight of the cotton is nicely substantial and warm and I love the plain knit for a change, as it seems so many sweaters are cable knit these days. I ordered it in burgundy, which is very pretty. Less appealing for me is that the crew neck is too high and narrow and personally I would prefer a traditional sleeve style vs. raglan. The sweater does run large and long. It would be great if these were available in Petite sizing.

Good, but didn't last
I actually have quite a few lands' end blouses, but not many sweaters. I gave this one a shot and I loved it until I went to wear it today and the stitching was gaping at the arm pit area...I do not dry my sweaters and treat them well as I am a little OCD with that :), but this one still fell apart after only wearing it 3 times. Makes hesitant to buy another sweater from lands' end...knowing I could've just had a defective one and didn't realize it in the begining, I MAY give it another go in a year or so...this is lost money and warmth so I have to mentally recover from that first :)
