nice colors, but not thrilled with fabric
I wanted to love these tanks because they came in nice colors and I'd hoped the ribbing was less prominent. Also, the sizing seemed to vary quite a bit on the tanks I ordered. And, on a few, the armholes were cut very high and looked strange when I tried them on.

Best Basic Tank
I've bought similar tanks from Old Navy and Gap and these are way better. The material is great, a little thicker so not see through at all (even the white). And the cut is great, not super clingy but gives a nice shape. And the straps are cut to not show bra straps which I love. I'm 5'4" and 140lb and the M fits perfect. I grabbed 4 while they are on sale :)

Love these tanks - no bra straps showing
I love these tanks and own several of them. The fabric is substantial but not too thick under other shirts, they cover all of my (thick) bra straps, and the length works well. They hold up well in the wash and don't shrink. They are my favorite tanks.

Nice tank but depends on what you do with it
I just got this yesterday and I think it is a nice enough tank. It gave me a nice feminine shape and I like the smaller ribbing. It goes down to my hips which is my ideal length. I have an equivalent tank from Old Navy that I got for one third the price. Is the LE tank three times as nice? Yes--if I were wearing it on its own. It definitely looks better than the ON tank since the ribbing is wider on the ON tank and there is no shape with the ON tank. If I wanted just a layering piece though--I'd go back to ON for the cheapo tank.
As far as the tank hem issue--mine was fine. I felt that it wasn't too narrow and fit over my hips fine. I am a bit pear shaped too. I also wonder if the tank hem were wider if it would keep its shape as well. I like that this tank, due to its length, hides my small but still there "fat baby".
So overall, this works for me. I'm planning to wear it on its own with jeans and khaki shorts. I may get one more but that is probably it. Not going to be a staple for me..not at this price anyway.

Tank hem is defective
The tank itself could be really great -- it has nice thick straps and the straps are not too long like some of the others I've seen these days. But there was a mistake in sewing the hem. Typically, you have to stretch the material and then sew it so that the hem will give a little and stretch as you put it on and pull it down etc. But this hem would not give at all and had been sewn incorrectly. That was too bad because otherwise it would have been perfect.

So poorly made
This tank should have been sold as Not Quite Perfect because as others mentioned, the hem is too tight. The ribbing of the fabric stretches but the stitching does not. Old Navy makes a great affordable ribbed tank - I'm shocked that Canvas cannot figure it out.

Stretches with wear - size down if you're in between
I love the color (shock pink), the neckline, and the strap placement of this tank. The torso is nice and long, and the fit is quite slimming. I have noticed the somewhat tight stitching at the bottom hem like other posters have mentioned, but it doesn't bother me.
However, it stretches out quite a bit with wear. This looks great when I put it on in the morning but is stretched almost to the point of being too big by the end of the day. I'm wishing I'd ordered a small instead of a medium, but smalls rarely fit me well across the shoulders.
Overall, I recommend this tank, just go down a size if you're debating between two sizes, in my opinion.

Great basic tank!
I love this tank and will definitely buy it in more colors. It is a little snug around the waist, I wish the material would stretch more.

Good basic tank top
I bought four of these in four different colors and they can be worn alone or as a layering piece. The aren't super cheap, but the material is soft and the tops retain their shape, even after several washes. The shoulder straps are wide enough and occur in a spot such that bra straps are unlikely to peak out.
