Excellent looking jacket!
This fits a little tight compare to most of the 38s I buy from Canvas, and I have a few thus far. It is a bit warm due to the waxing. It retains heat. But for Spring and Fall and through the winter this would be a great go to piece. It goes with everything. I took me a few wears to get used to the rustling it makes, but it is a very cool bit with jeans or khakis...

Runs long and tight in the shoulders.
Funny, some think this fits big. I'm 6'-1" and 34" waist and normally take a 44L. It does fit long, because this is a regular length and it's perfect sleeve and overall length. The shoulders are tight though. Order the next size up. I had to exchnage the original purchase for a 46.

Great quality fabric but it runs big and long
I really wanted this jacket to work. Great fabric, nice texture and the slight sheen to the material makes this for a great unique coat. I live the plaid and the way it is made. unfortunately, the coat is not slim cut on my as others have reviewed and also, the coat runs long. At 5'6', this coat in 38 is way to long and goes below by butt as do the sleeves. I am learning now that most LEC jackets are not made for short people.

Love everything about this jacket except for the fact that the 40 fit me like a 42. The waxed cotton and pattern make for a very unique, chimera-like fabric that plays with the light to always look a bit different. Nice buy, just make sure you try it on.

Great jacket, runs small
Love the color - all the dark plaid colors blend together to make a very versatile piece. As for size, my husband is on the big side of medium and the 42 was too tight. We had to exchange for the 44. He's 6'0 and 200 pounds. Note, the elbow patches on this jacket are placed the old fashioned way so that they are lower on the arm (to actually work) as opposed to being placed evenly over the top and the bottom of the elbow for fashion.

Cut and fits too small
Beautiful jacket. Love the waxed cotton fabric! I normally wear an XL or size 46. Could not even button the front. Fits me like between a medium and a large. Much too small!!!
