Description

Could be our coolest jacket.

  • Breathable all-cotton seersucker
  • Lined sleeves and upper back
  • Back vent
  • Two inside pockets
  • Tailored Fit: trim, for a cleaner look
  • Two-button front

The woven-in crinkles of seersucker keep cooling air moving around you better than any other natural-fiber fabric. Only a small portion of the fabric contacts the body at any one time, and as it shifts, the air moves, drawing away body heat. Plus, even the tailoring helps fight high temps; lined only in the sleeves and upper back, the jacket is lighter, with a natural-shoulder fit. 100% cotton. Dry clean. Imported.

Men's Tailored Fit 2-button Flap Seersucker Jacket 2 5 1 1
Not very tailored I bought this Lands End seersucker combo and a Tommy Hilfiger seersucker suit and decided to go with the Tommy one. I like my suit jackets slimmer than the average bear; I like a nice tight silhouette. This jacket isn't cut close enough to what I'd consider trim or tailored fit and when wearing seersucker, you want things as streamlined as possible in my opinion. The lining inside the jacket, at least in the yoke, didn't impress me. The Tommy jacket had a sort of satin lining, the LE jacket had a very rough sort of cotton--almost canvas--yoke. I'll be wearing this in the summer obviously, and that didn't strike me as something that would keep me cool. I love Lands End chinos, polos, chambray, etc but I don't think their suiting is quite up to snuff. June 9, 2012
