Prized for its cool elegance since the days of the Pharaohs, linen must be created with great care to bring out its natural beauty. Flax – the fiber from which linen is woven — can’t be rushed, or it becomes coarse or brittle. And then couldn’t be spun and woven into this soft, silky fabric.

Since the 13th century, the finest linen has been made in Ireland, and this fabric is from Baird McNutt, Ireland’s foremost linen mill. Their 100 years of experience and reputation for quality are unrivaled. And it shows in the fine quality of these pants. We add a few touches of our own, going all out on tailoring. These include a Ban-Rol® waistband with a notch indicating its alterability, a coin pocket — plus every other feature you expect from Lands’ End® trousers. 100% linen. Dry clean. Imported.

Nice Pants! Nice looking pants, length and waist fit fine. They were a little small in the seat....but that might be my problem! May 13, 2013
Not sure I will keep them. Hot fabric. Snug fit. Too much hardware I realize some of this is all personal taste but I found the fabric to be heavier/hotter than I thought it would be, the crotch is more snug than I think traditional fit should be, and the clasp has two "buckles" at the zipper and an extra button. I am concerned this will just be more hardware that is going to break over time and it takes me too long to buckle them during daily use. Not like the pants I usually order from Lands End. Mine also seem to have a lot of loose strings and fabric blemishes. All considered, I may return them or keep them as a winter only pant. April 25, 2013
poor quality My husband was really excited about these pants. Upon trying them on for the first time they ripped in the waist area while buttoning them. It is not an issue of size it is an issue of quality. The color is true to description and they are true to size. Unfortunately, we can't recommend this product. January 19, 2013

Nice Quality But Poor Fit Nice material and appears to be good quality of construction. However, like many trousers these days, I found the fit to be too short in the rise and snug in the hip area. They are described as traditional fit but they did not come close to fitting like the many traditional fit chinos I have from Lands End. Unfortunately, I had to return them. May 12, 2012
