Recommend with reservations
Like most I missed the fact that there were no belt loops. They fit fairly well and I like the fabric. Will probably go to a tailor to see if they can add loops from any excess fabric from the cuffs.

Lovely pants but no belt loops
.....and in some cases Land's End doesn't get it quite right.
These should have been great pants. They have the potential to be wonderful pants being comfortable, good looking, fitting perfectly and warm.
My husband loved the fit and everything about them other than the fact that he was constantly pulling them up as the waistband adjustment just didn't work for him.
I know supenders would be the answer but the man just isn't a suspender kind of guy.
Nowhere in the description does it say no belt loops.
They went back and he was sad to see them go :(

I know it's not real Donegal fabric but the look and fit is good enough for me.I also like the side tabs to change the fit,nice touch.

no belt loops, loose weave
I was disappointed. The description didn't say that the pants had no belt loops and that the waist was adjustable via buttons. The fabric was a loose weave that did not match my understanding of Donegal tweed. I returned the pants.

Great fit, good material weight and hang, easy to move in.
These fit very well and are now one of my favorite pants. Quality is good and what expected from Land's End. I wear them to work ( professor) and as casual business wear. Very comfortable. No belt loops, but none needed for this style. I could easily wear them on the golf course and swing without restrictions from the pants.

I like the trousers, but I was disappointed that there were no belt loops.
In ordering my donegals I must have overlooked the feature regarding belt loops. I will have difficulty wearing my donegals without a something such as a sweater, covering my waist.
other than that cirticism, they are of a beautiful fabric and are going to look very well with my tan sport coats.
The feel of the fabric takes some getting used to, but that is a minor problem

Spent my first day wearing these pants constantly pulling them up.
These could be great pants. They are comfortable, nice looking and warm. Which makes it even more frustrating that the waist adjustment didn't work for me. At first, adjusting these pants to the smallest size seemed to fix the problem, but, within an hour they were slipping down again. I'm taking the pants into a seamstress to have suspender buttons added. It is a pity that these pants don't have belt loops.

Nice pant, but no belt loops or suspender buttons
Was pleased with these pants, but was on a business trip and went to put my belt on and to my surprise no belt loops. Looked for suspender buttons, they do not exist either. Just a warning if you plan to buy these pants.
