Excellent pants
These pants are perfect for my days at the office. The fit, quality, and material are unchanged from previous models, which is good. Unlike the material used for dress chinos I recently received from a competing website, which wrinkled after one washing and no longer looked dressy, the Land's End chinos still look crisp after washing. I'm very happy with these pants.

OK, but not for me
Material had a shine to it and was stiff. That may be fine for some people, but I didn't care for them so I sent them back. They were not what I expected based on the description.

These pants are a good addition to the basic wardrobe.
They fit well, hang nicely and keep a good look during a long day at work or play. They are not totally non-iron for they need to be touched up with a steam iron to set the crease both front and back. Colors are good; I like the new Faded Navy but would also like to see the regular Navy be added. I have worn them for casual business meetings with a blazer, or with sweaters and for cool weather golf.

Everything has changed, for the worse
I have worn the previous iteration of these pants for probably 5 years with no problems. I received two pairs of this new style and:
1. When the old and new pants and compared the thighs are about 2.5" narrower and it definitely shows and feels that way.
2. A back pocket button fell off in the initial wash.
3. The black pants are more faded than a pair I've washed dozens of times.
4. There is no give in the seat so it is uncomfortable to sit.
5. They look and feel like skinny jeans
Whatever changed, give me back my old pants, I do not like these. I am one of the trimmest people you will find at ~155lbs and these 32x34 pants are so uncomfortable.

Hate the new style
Don't like the new buttons and flaps in front or the coin pocket.
I agree with others - seat is tighter than older model.

Lands End dropped the quality
My husband was a loyal customer before they dropped the quality and changed the style and fit of these pants. What is the little pocket for? It makes the pants look casual. Please bring back the previous design and quality!

Why Ruin Perfection
I too have ordered many pairs of pants from Lands End. I loved them because they were neat, wrinkle free, true to size, and good all around quality. Size 37 was perfect and now you do not offer this size. The great quality that was once a given is no longer there and appears to continually decline. I hate it. I will be ordering from LL Bean in the future. LL Bean seems to listen when their customers make suggestions. I have read numerous complaints for years now regarding declining quality and it has not made any difference. Who needs a coin pocket?? Lands End please listen to your loyal customers.

odd fit
The back seam was sewn funny so that it was tight over the butt (couldn't sit down comfortably) and really baggy in the back at crotch level. Sent it back. Nice fabric and color, though

So...why mess with a good thing???
Really don't like the re-design of these trousers. Fabric is not as substantial; fit is off a bit--so not comfortable; zipper pull is over-sized; weird coin pocket on front; colors are weird--especially the green; and they cost too much.
