Prized for its cool elegance since the days of the Pharaohs, linen must be created with great care to bring out its natural beauty. Flax — the fiber from which linen is woven — can’t be rushed, or it becomes coarse or brittle. And then couldn’t be spun and woven into this soft, silky fabric.

Since the 13th century, the finest linen has been made in Ireland, and this fabric is from Baird McNutt, Ireland’s foremost linen mill. Their 100 years of experience and reputation for quality are unrivaled. And it shows in the fine quality of these pants. We add a few touches of our own, going all out on tailoring. These include a Ban-Rol®waistband with a back notch indicating its alterability, a coin pocket – plus every other feature you expect from Lands’ End® trousers. 54% linen/46% cotton. Dry clean. Imported.

Product fits and look great. I have worn linen pants in the past, and while I liked the weight and comfort of the linen, I hated that the linen wrinkled so easily. I found that I could wear the Land' End linen pants all day at the office without the extreme wrinkling of the pants. These Lands' End Linen Cotton Pants are very comfortable and the fit is great. More skinny fit than tailored I am not particularly big in the thighs or seat yet these pants were quite snug. Have tried other makers "tailored fit" pants and this was not a problem. Returned them. April 14, 2013
Nice work pants! My husband was thrilled when he tried these on. He was looking for something dressier than khakis but not as hot as wool. These fit the bill. He looked so good in them, my babysitter even commented. I wish they came in more colors! August 4, 2012
Excellent pants, as far as Lands End goes I got the tailored fit and still it is too big, but I got them tailored for $20 and they look and fit really great. Why would anyone want that huge hunk of material that runs from below the butt to the knee. A waste of material. If Lands End would just make their tailored pants even slimmer to just good looking they would have a huge market, and still there would be plenty of baggy Lands End pants available for those who like that style. I love the material in these pants. It is unique, and sturdy and breathes really well. These don't seem to stretch out nearly as much as those other linen/cotton pants that come in the green color. I am probably gonna get the white color now that I know about taking them to a tailor. As always the crotch could be higher, but it is not bad. This is a great product that stands out as a success. Transparency of sand (white) trousers will raise eyebrows Out of the box I loved the crispness of these linen cotton trousers and the tailoring while a little big, (I sized down 1 size in waist, and roomy leg) they still had the look I wanted to wear as a versatile light summer pant. The reason they're going back is because of the transparency of the fabric. It's not even just a problem for darker skin tones (like me) because any dark coloured underwear shows through and the trouser pockets - a darker material show through too! It's like I've wet myself along the side pockets and crotch area. Really disappointed. July 19, 2012
Decent The stride's a bit long, which gives a bit of an "old man" look to them, but otherwise the fit is good. This is not a casual linen pant that you'd wear to a BBQ. I bought the white thinking they'd be great for upscale afternoon parties in the summer, but this is more like a pant you'd see on a guy getting out of a Cadillac at a casino. June 25, 2012
