Length?
I was looking forward to getting this shirt after eyeing similar shirts from other companies. The fit and material of LEC shirts is usually spot on for me and I love the way they wash (they're the only shirts I own that I can toss in the washer and dryer and they come out unwrinkled and ready to go). Also, my LEC shirts, no matter the length, all seem to stay perfectly tucked in when wearing to work.
Now, to this shirt: The material is about what I expected, maybe a little thinner and stiffer feeling than I'd hoped for, but not too bad. It might wash up nicely. However, I'm quite surprised to see that more people haven't had an issue with the length of the shirt at the waist. I am 6'1" 175lbs and wear a medium in most brands. I ordered the medium in this shirt and it is simply too long. The back of the shirt actually covers the seat of my pants in the back and about an inch past my crotch in the front. The sleeve length is fine - they are slightly loose, but not too bad, and the shirt has a nice slim cut in the waist, but I can't seem to get over the idea that there's someone out there 6'2" or taller who is wearing a medium sized shirt. If that's you, then this will be a dream fit!

Good shirt, couple quirks
First of all, I love this shirt. The material is just the right weight, the color (I got the red one) is right, contrast stitching and details look very nice. My only complaints are that the sleeves are a little billowy, which results in the cuffs being too large, and there is a strange bunching happening on the side stitching near the gussets at the bottom of the shirt. If you have better biceps than I do (and you almost certainly do), the first issue goes away. Ultimately neither "problem" is a deal breaker, though, and I'm very happy with the shirt. Maybe I'll do some curls.

Much more than expected
I ordered this shirt along with several other similar shirts from different stores. Without telling him which shirt was from which store, I let him choose. Both he and my husband were immediately drawn to this shirt. The stitching was unique, the feel of the shirt was substantial, and the fit was dead on. It is a wonderful shirt.

A little too long to wear untucked, a little too baggy to wear tucked
It really is a nice shirt but it didn't quite fit me right. It was just a bit too long wear untucked, and a bit too baggy to wear tucked. Not a bad shirt though. Then again I am pretty thin. I'm 5'10, 145 and got a size small. I think I like enough to spring a little bit more and get it tailored.
One thing I do wish is that the pen pocket was a little wider so I could fit pens in there that are a bit wider than a #2 pencil.

I loved this shirt so much I bought 2!
The fit of the shirt is pretty good. I'm one of those weird people with a 42 inch chest and a 34 inch waist so I'm used to off the rack shirts being a bit big in the waist. But this isn't an issue as I wear the shirt mostly un-tucked.
The quality is excellent you can see little unexpected hints of styling in the stitching. I bought and returned another chambray shirt from a more expensive retailer because Lands End really nailed the color, texture, and design on this shirt. This shirt is perfect for a happy hour and goes nicely with a blue blazer.
So glad that I've found out about Lands End!

Buttons falling off after one wash.
I was really excited about this shirt the first few times I wore it, looked great, good fit and color.
Unfortunately after the first wash the buttons all became very loose and started to fall off. Two have fallen completley off already. I'm very disappointed by the quality of the construction on this piece. If you don't want to spend time sewing buttons I'd stay away from this shirt.

A great Shirt!
Fits true to size, the color is great and I'm sure will better with age and washing. The attention to detail in the construction of this shirt is normally only found in Shirts costing 3 to 4 times more than this. The chainstitching details are amazing! My clothing find of the year, so far!

Great summer shirt
I'm 6'3", 185 lbs, (16/35 shirt) and this shirt fits almost perfectly. The body and shoulders are great. The sleeves are too short for me by an inch (maybe less). However, since I'll be rolling the sleeves up all of the time (it is a work shirt after all), this isn't a deal-breaker to me. Great construction and it looks great too!
