Simple. A fantastic pair of jeans.
Crisp. Dark blue. Substantial. Well-cut. No wasted material here, they are very form-fitting. If you want 'dad' jeans, look elsewhere. The fact that this pair of jeans are all-American makes them a easy choice. I look forward to many years of wear.

Great jeans and a perfect fit
I really like these jeans. The first pair I had were the old version (not made in the US). These are the same fit and quality as the last. I really like the wash.

good fit; great quality
The quality of these jeans is really something special: no frills, no logos, no patterns or distressing or anything flashy. Just heavy-duty, dark-rinse wash blue jeans. My hope in buying these jeans is that they last me years of constant wear, and from the looks of it (I've been wearing them for 4 months) that's what I'll get. I also love that they're made in the USA! This was a big selling-point for me.
I like the fit of these slim fit jeans because the rise is not too low, not too high, and they are slim through the calf to the ankle. I hate having excess fabric down by my ankles, and these jeans have none of that, yet still look great with both heavy boots and wingtips/oxfords. Another reviewer recommended sizing up; I disagree because the jeans have stretched just a bit to fit my body as I've been wearing them, and I almost wish I'd ordered a size down. I'm typically between a 32 and 33 waist, and these 32s fit me a little tight when I first put them on but have now molded to my body just about perfectly. I get a bit of sagging in the knee, but that's almost unavoidable with slim jeans that taper to the ankle.
My only complaint about the jeans is that I wish LEC offered a 32x30, rather than just a 32x32. Right now I have the jeans cuffed so it's ok, but I'm probably going to have them shortened and hemmed at the tailor before spring/summer.

Tight jeans. Size up in waist.
These are tight jeans. Skinny. Not leggings, super skinny. But skinnier than you'd expect. I would size up one inch in waist if available.
Pleased with the material and color. May be tight weave, although you'd have to check after washing because this could just be the finish.
The rise is good, which can be an issue as manufacturers tighten their fit but still try to accommodate the maximum number of consumers. Better rise than the comparable skinny jcrew jeans, which have some funky things going on in the crotch.
The con I would point out would be the seat. These are for flat butts. The "yoke", which is the horizontal seam above the back pockets, is tighter than the waste. (It's supposed to be the other way around since your butt goes "out" and your waist is further "in".) Very strange. The jeans are tightest around this yoke, which makes the jeans feel like they are falling down your butt unless you wear a belt to bring the waist in. The extra fabric where the waist is too wide by comparison is then noticeable.
Jeans are supposed to make your butt look good. I'd say this switched yoke vs waist needs to be fixed before these jeans would be good, perhaps great for the price. Unless you seriously have no butt. Then you'd be fine.
