Frumpy dress, rocking skirt
Consider my review to be 3.5 boats.
I'm 5'4", 130ish lbs, 35.5(28FF)x26x37. True 4, often stuck having to order 0/2/XS/S.
I got a 0.
Sizing: Huge, it's a tent. I wish they had a 00 and I'd exchange for that. As it were, I'll just sew the belt into the elastic top so it doesn't stretch.
Anyway, as a dress it hits me at the thickest part of my muscular calves and makes me look stumpy. It also falls straight from my breasts, which are projected forward, and it totally avoids my waist line. Even belted the thing is frumpy as all get out. I think it'd be lovely on a tall woman that is less curvy. Unfortunately, the ideal body type for this dress is likely sized out.
However, as a maxi skirt it is magnificent. the elastic sits at my natural waist and the hem brushes the top of my feet without dragging on the ground. Perfect length for me. And that's a tough order to fill as I'm "tall" from my hips up and short from hips down.
Material and Construction: Nice light weight and opaque cotton. The dress is not lined in a conventional sense, but it is double layered. Both layers are thin, so it's airy, but the goal of good draping and no wardrobe slips is fulfilled.
The buttons for the straps are attached poorly on my dress. This isn't an issue for me because I'm removing them, but it's one of the only LE/LEC items I've received with less than awesome finishing. That's really the only construction issue though, everything else is great.
Color: So soft, so blue, so subtly nautical, so summer! I love blues and grays in summer. Maybe it's because I'm in the NE, but they're summer colors to me. All shades are perfect and are true to my monitor. I'll be wearing with a heathered gray tank. I also love that the base shade is off-white and not stark.
Overall: Really, they should have sold this as a skirt. I truly found it to be an awful dress but it's such a lovely maxi skirt. As I said, I'll have to do some minor alterations including sewing the pockets shut after removing the excess material, but I'm good with that.
On that note. Short and want a maxi skirt that won't trip you up? Get it. Tall and want a maxi skirt that slings across your hips? Get it. Willowy and want a midi dress? Try it. Just request garment measurements, don't reference that sizing chart (I should be a 6, ha!), it's useless. And keep in mind that the elastic up top stretches and the dress flares from there.

Beautiful but runs HUGE!!!
Pretty dress/skirt, but HUGE! I am a size 12...always! I'm 5'6" and 160 lbs. I got a size 6 in this dress for it to fit properly. My niece bought this dress and I tried hers on to decide which size to order. I'd call customer service just to be safe in getting the right size! It was worth it though! SO pretty and versatile!!!
