Soft construction makes the jacket lighter, more casual, more wearable: it removes layers from the chest, with lining only in the sleeves and across the upper back — just enough so the jacket slides on smoothly. Also of note: this jacket has a three-button front, but the lapel is designed so only two buttons show. Sleeves have working buttonholes.
